OUR CURRICULUM.

  • A Scholars Plus Mindful Digital Navigator is able to critically deconstruct content - journeying into the backend of presented information. As navigators become aware of media and digital media systems they will be empowered consumers. Equipped with lifetime skills and knowledge to explore media and digital media content in healthy ways.

  • Scholars Plus does not impart knowledge, but facilitates the process of inquiry. Through the process of inquiry, students will critically evaluate content as they explore the layered frontiers of the digital world.

  • The Scholars Plus curriculum follows recommendations put forth by the Colorado Digital Media Advisory Committee formed through House Bill 19-1110. Our curriculum developer is an active member of the National Association of Media Literacy Education and also explores international strategies on Digital Media Literacy implementation in education.

  • At the completion of the Scholars Plus program, scholars receive a Mindful Digital Navigator Certificate. Not only will they have Digital Media Literacy skills for life but also exciting opportunities within Scholars Plus from paid internships, leading workshops to serving on our Advisory Committee and more!
